"Good Art for Good People" is our motto.  The canary gallery is a neighborhood art gallery, event space, and gathering spot, located in the heart of the 2nd Avenue Loft District in downtown Birmingham.  

Our Story

The canary gallery is the result of a lifelong pursuit of the arts.  Libby Pantazis, a retired lawyer, set out to create a space where artists can display their works, and garner recognition among veteran patrons, and casual observers alike.

Whether you are looking for a work to purchase, or simply want to drop by for a glass of wine while visiting the many wonderful establishments on 2nd Avenue North, we welcome you to join us on this artistic adventure.
